This multi-departmental effort has achieved many successes in raising funds for services that youth and families benefit from, where governmental funds could not be used to secure.

In the first eighteen months of operation, the Foundation held two fund raising events, a dinner and a wine tasting, and received slightly over $9,000 in cash donations. All administrative functions have been completed and all necessary approvals and certifications have been finalized. Cash is being dispensed on a regular basis to the staff of the multi-departmental teams as requested. In addition, the Foundation has, for the last two years, supported a holiday gift donation effort for youth and families served by the mufti-departmental teams. This project is coordinated by the Yuba City Police Department and receives significant support from a local bank, (the Vice President of which is on the Foundation board) and made donations to over 200 youth and families this year. Families are being better supported, community members are donating toward this effort and receiving a tax benefit for doing so and Sutter County is benefiting from this effort. The holiday gifts donated are not included in the $9,000 identified above.
